Loading Supervisor (Night Shift) – Murfreesboro, TN | CDL Class A Required
Bluegrass Trucking Inc. is hiring a full-time Loading Supervisor for our night shift operations in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Position Overview
The Loading Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing nightly loading and unloading operations while working closely with our customer and driver team. This position ensures freight is loaded safely, accurately, and on schedule while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with company procedures.
Shift: 8:00 PM until work is completed (typically by 6:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
Supervise loading and unloading operations
Lead and support warehouse and loading personnel
Coordinate directly with customers and CDL drivers
Ensure all loads are complete, accurate, and ready for transportation
Stage trailers and equipment for efficient operations
Operate conveyor system controls
Verify shipping paperwork and load documentation
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
Ensure all company and customer loading procedures are followed
Communicate effectively with drivers, operations, and customers throughout the shift
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL required
Previous experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse, or freight operations preferred
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with customers, drivers, and warehouse personnel
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay from $25.00 per hour
Full-time position (40–50 hours per week)
